Who We Are

We Can Do Better MPLS is a grassroots group of Minneapolis residents and small business owners who believe it’s time for change at City Hall. We are people who love this city and want it to thrive—but we are deeply concerned that the current Minneapolis City Council has failed to act on the issues that matter most.

What We Stand For

We stand for leadership that listens to the community, values partnership, and takes action. For too long, Minneapolis has been stuck in endless debates while crime rises, housing costs soar, and property taxes climb higher each year. Our city deserves leaders who are capable of both vision and follow-through.

Our Priorities

Safety & Stability: Minneapolis must be a city where residents and business owners feel safe in their neighborhoods.
Housing Solutions: We need practical policies that expand access to affordable housing.
Responsible Spending: Property tax increases should not be the first answer to every budget challenge.
Partnerships that Work: Real change happens when leaders build coalitions with community members, local organizations, and small businesses.

Our Message

Minneapolis cannot afford another four years of inaction. We need city council leaders who understand the urgency of the moment and are ready to deliver results—not just promises. We can do better. And together, we will.
